About EOS EVM
EOS EVM is a project that aims to bridge the EOS and Ethereum ecosystems by implementing an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) on the EOS blockchain. This initiative seeks to open up the EOS network to Ethereum’s developer community and tooling, enabling Ethereum-compatible applications to leverage the high performance, flexibility, and developer-friendly environment of the EOS network. By doing so, EOS EVM strives to provide a multichain Web3 experience, broadening the horizon of interoperability between these two prominent blockchain ecosystems.
The EOS EVM project facilitates the deployment and execution of smart contracts written for the Ethereum blockchain on the EOS network, aiming to take advantage of EOS’s high throughput and low latency while retaining compatibility with Ethereum’s vast developer tools and community support.
