The two movie stars both used Moonpay to get their first NFTs
The list of celebrities joining the NFT space is constantly growing, with Eva Longoria and Gwyneth Paltrow becoming the latest additions. Both look like fans of female-themed collections and decided to make their entry into the space with the help of crypto company Moonpay.
Gwyneth Paltrow opted to reveal her NFT with a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT purchased through crypto firm Moonpay. This tactic has become somewhat of a gold standard in the celebrity space. Earlier this week we saw Kevin Hart go the same road when he purchased BAYC #9258 with Moonpay’s help. Aside from the BAYC shared in this Twitter post, Paltrow also owns several other NFTs which are more than likely to be gifts from fans.
Much in the same fashion, Eva Longoria opted to use Moonpay’s services to purchase Woman #6199. Moonpay facilitated this purchase. However, it seems that Eva Longoria has a genuine interest to learn more about the NFT space. She even teased Instagram collaborations with her favorite profiles in a Twitter post.
Exploring Eva Longoria and Gwyneth Paltrow’s portfolios
As more celebrities join the NFT space, it becomes more and more evident that NFTs are infiltrating the mainstream. Importantly, many NFT projects also sport important social change missions. Judging by both actresses’ portfolios, they have a strong focus on women’s rights.
While Gwyneth Paltrow’s wallet holds four UniverseOfWomen NFTs, these seem to be gifts as there were no payments associated with the transfers. Still, the actress has officially announced her entry into the space and even changed her Twitter profile picture to BAYC #6141. Impressively, she has also taken the time to use the Twitter NFT verification tool, which means she now has a hexagonal profile picture frame.
Eva Longoria, on the other hand, has decided to make her NFT foray with a World of Women NFT. Again purchased with the help of Moonpay, Woman #6199 now sits proudly as the most expensive NFT in Longoria’s portfolio. Additionally, she has also purchased two Crypto Chicks NFTs.
Impressively, Eva Longoria stands true to her words and seems to be exploring the NFT space actively. Aside from NFT collectibles, she has also purchased the evabaston.eth ENS address. This is a nice little touch showing the actress’ dedication to learn more about the space and explore the possibilities it offers.
