BitIts can be understood as a game in which something is created through a creative mental process. Central to this are the so-called "BIts" (short for BitIts), which describe a property of an object or thing (e.g. "It is yellow"). The full creative potential of BIts is realized when they are interconnected in a sequence (e.g., "It is round, yellow, and hollow"), narrowing down the space of possibilities until only one entity remains. nnThe value of a BIts results from the frequency of mention in so-called proposals (linking Bits with an It). However, the validity of proposals hinges on a jury's decision regarding their coherence. Only when a proposal is unanimously approved by the jury are the BIts considered valid and assigned their value. The BIts' value can be augmented by incorporating them into new proposals. nnThe system is managed by a smart contract and the proposals created are stored as NFTs on the Polygon blockchain.
