About MultiversX
MultiversX is a highly scalable public blockchain via sharding, decentralized through +3,000 validator nodes, built to solve the three fundamental problems critical for widespread, global adoption: transition from dial-up to broadband, significant UX paradigm shift, and simplicity of self-custody. MultiversX relies on a sharded state architecture and a secure Proof of Stake consensus mechanism. By employing sharding, a method of parallelizing data & transactions processing, MultiversX’s performance scales up with the number of computers joining the network, reaching more than 100.000 transactions per second while growing increasingly decentralized.
