A crypto presale is the earliest funding stage for a new project — a window where supporters buy tokens before the public sale and exchange listing. Presales typically reward the earliest participants with the lowest entry price, and the price steps up in stages until the Token Generation Event (TGE). How to evaluate a crypto presale
- Audits. Reputable presales publish audits from CertiK, SolidProof, Coinsult or similar. An unaudited contract is a red flag.
- Token mechanics. Look for renounced ownership, fixed supply, 0% transfer tax and no mint function. Anything else opens the door to admin-key abuse. The Vesting and Team trust chips in the table flag projects that publish a vesting schedule or a public team.
- Allocation. The allocation column shows what share of total supply is sold in this round. A tiny presale allocation against a huge supply can mean heavy unlocks later.
- Real product. A live MVP, app or testnet beats a “concept and roadmap.”
- Sector and chain. The sector tag and chains help you size up the narrative and where liquidity will live at launch.
- Domain hygiene. Always type the official domain by hand. Phishing clones of presale dashboards drain wallets every week.
