Virtual worlds underperform as token prices fall amid bear market trends
Sunflower Land tops the weekly gaming charts as it saw the launch of its native token SFL. This boosted activity for the game, despite the fluctuating pricing of the token. Impressively, virtual worlds continue to struggle, as token prices are crashing because of the bear market the whole space is experiencing.
WorldWideWebb is the only virtual world making it to the charts this week, and at the impressive second place. One of the saving graces for the project, considering the rather unfavorable market conditions, is the fact it does not have a native token yet.

Sunflower Lands takes over gaming on Polygon
Sunflower Land has once more taken over the Polygon blockchain. The game’s predecessor Sunflower Farm managed to clog the chain, but the new release is much more stable and onboarding new players in stages.
While the game is still building its user base, the launch of the native SFL token brought a significant activity boost. Players were able to earn SFL in the alpha and beta versions of the game, however, withdrawals were not enabled. Now everyone has a chance to actually cash out their SFL earnings and swap the token for other cryptocurrencies on decentralized exchanges. Or, of course, invest more into Sunflower Land for more riches.
