268% increase in active users in the last 7-days on KardiaChain
My DeFi Pet, a play-to-earn game initially launched on BNB Chain in April 2021, is gaining serious traction on KardiaChain this week. The NFT infused breeding and battler game that attracts around 100 wallets per day on KardiaChain received a booster as DPET tokens were dropped into the wallets of KardiaChain users on March 9.
The DPET airdrop announcement had the desired effect as wallets connecting to My DeFi Pet increased from 120 on March 8 to almost 800 by March 9, dropping to just under 500 the day after. Importantly Boss Fight season 7 kicked off on March 10 to keep players engaged and convince users to stick around longer.
Looking at My DeFi Pet across the two blockchains, it operates from, it’s interesting to see the player divide. In the last 7-days, the total number of wallets connecting to My DeFi Pet was 10,290. However, 1,300 of those, or around 12% came through KardiaChain.
BSC has been among the top blockchain ecosystem ever since its rise to prominence in the field of DeFi and yield farming. With PancakeSwap the blockchain has the most active dapp of the entire industry. At the same time, KardiaChain is a newcomer, carving out its own place within the wider blockchain ecosystem. Therefore it’s interesting to see KardiaChain already being responsible for more than 10% of all activity on My DeFi Pet. Perhaps their airdrop will set the mark for a new way of doing marketing within Web3.
