Discover applications on the social Layer-2 network
DappRadar is excited to announce that we now track dapps on Cyber, the social Layer-2 network with integrating restaking. Through the DappRadar Rankings, anybody can now discover exciting applications, built with a friendly user experience in mind.
Web3 enthusiasts and users looking for unique social applications can now dive into the DappRadar Rankings to find all kinds of dapps powered by Cyber. This integration makes projects built on the social Layer-2 network discoverable through industry-leading key data points, such a dapp volume and unique active wallets (UAW).
What is Cyber?
Cyber is a Layer-2 network built using the OP Stack, which means it benefits from the modularity and standardization set in place by Optimism. Moreover, this means that Cyber is also part of the Superchain ecosystem, benefiting interoperability and shared economics with ecosystems like Optimism and Base.
The network gives users a gasless user experience thanks to native Paymaster sponsors and Account Abstraction. In addition, Cyber supports native Passkey, giving users a seedless user experience while still enjoying 100% self-custody. Bridged assets, including ETH, generate native yield on the network, therefore rewarding users who bring value over to the Layer-2 network.
Key features of Cyber L2
As a Layer-2 network Cyber comes with various benefits to make user onboarding easier, which also includes some of the technical features below:
- Native yield for bridged assets to increase capital efficiency
- Native Account Abstraction with RIP-7560, which offers ERC-4337 backwards compatibility
- Decentralized sequencer and verifier to enhance rollup network reliability and security
- A gasless user experience thanks to Cyber’s official Paymaster sponsors
- Native Passkey and a seedless user experience with 100% self-custody
CYBER token explained
Users don’t need CYBER to pay for gas fees, because these are covered through sponsored Paymaster contracts. However, CYBER allows users to participate in governance decisions. This allows CYBER holders or stakers to influence the community treasury, protocol upgrades and council members.
As mentioned, users can also stake their CYBER, which comes with various benefits. Staking CYBER and restaked ETH are delegated to AVS Operators, which run fundamental infrastructures for the Layer-2 network. These stakers then receive rewards based on their stake, which includes revenue sharing from restaked ETH and incentives for staking CYBER.
