A quick introduction on how to use the DappRadar Portfolio to your own benefit
Connect your Web3 wallet to DappRadar, and you can navigate to the DappRadar Portfolio Tracker to see your DeFi and NFTs. But there’s so much more you can do to use the functionalities of your portfolio on DappRadar to your advantage. This guide will help you make the most of your DappRadar Portfolio.
Let’s start with the obvious. You need to connect your web3 wallet, for example, Metamask, to the DappRadar website. This will automatically create a profile for you as well. When you add your email address, you will be able to stay fully up-to-date on product updates or industry news. Click the account icon, login or sign up, and connect your wallet. Keep in mind, you need to approve a signature to do this, but there are no gas fees involved.
Once you’re signed in, click “Portfolio” in the top bar. This will bring you to the Portfolio Tracker and Management Tool. Here you can track your own wallet, but also follow others.
Overview page
When you login to your portfolio, the starting page gives an overview of all your assets. You can see the value of your tokens, your DeFi asset,s and your NFT collection. In this particular example below, the wallet has $265 worth in tokens, and more than $517,000 in NFTs. The wallet does not contain any DeFi assets.
From the Overview page you can easily move to other segments of your portfolio, using the menu on the left side. Here you have a choice out of three options:
- Tokens – Showing all your tokens and allowing you to swap them instantly
- NFTs – All your NFTs in one place, including value estimations and the ability to buy and sell
- Usage stats – How much gas fees did you pay on certain dapps, which dapps do you use the most?
The DappRadar Portfolio allows users to gain insight in their wallets, but also to take action. Straight from their wallet, users can trade tokens and list NFTs on the marketplace. Furthermore, you can research other wallets, and decide to acquire certain assets based on your analysis.
Token page
On the left side of your portfolio, you can click “tokens” to go to the Tokens Page. Here you will see all the tokens in that particular wallet. If you own the wallet, you will have the ability to trade those tokens.
Simply click the swapping icon on the right side of the token’s value. It will take you to the Single Token page. Here you can analyze the performance of that particular token over the past day, week, or 30 days. After approving a token, you can swap it for another one using the DappRadar Token Swap service. Keep in mind that there are transaction costs involved with these approvals and swaps.
On theright-handd side of the token page in your portfolio, you will be able to see your DeFi assets. The DappRadar portfolio tracker automatically sees where users provide liquidity or have open loans. However, liquidity pool tokens that have been staked in a smart contract will not be tracked. The DappRadar Portfolio only shows what’s in your wallet.
NFTs page
Again, go to the menu on the left side of your portfolio, and click “NFTs”. This will guide you directly to the NFT page, showing your entire collection and the estimated value of your NFTs based on the floor price.
Your NFT portfolio offers various ways to filter. You can filter based on the NFT collections, using the drop-down menu. In addition, you can sort the NFTs based on their value or name, while the search option allows you to filter based on your own text input.
Clicking on one NFT will bring you to the Single NFT page. Here you can find details about that particular NFT, including its trading history, metadata, and pricing. If you own that NFT, you have the ability to list the NFT for sale. More about selling and buying NFTs here.
Follow other wallets
Of course, the Portfolio Tracker is a great feature to keep your own token holdings and NFTs in check. However, it’s also a great tool to follow the wallets of your friends, popular NFT investors or DeFi whales. How to follow other wallets…
- Click the blue bar with the shortened wallet address on top. This will open a pop-up menu.
- Here you will see your own wallet address on top, and other recently viewed wallets at the bottom. Wallets you’ve visited and which you like, can be added to your Watchlist simply by pressing the (+) button
- You can also press the “Add wallet” button, and then paste a wallet address or ENS domain name. Press “add wallet” to, you guessed it, add the wallet to your Watchlist.
- When a wallet has been added to your Watchlist, you can rename it. Simply click the 3 dots to open a small menu, and then click “Rename Wallet”.
- Enter a new name, and confirm. This is how you can make your favorite wallets easier to find.
With your favorite wallets always within reach, the DappRadar Portfolio Tool is the best way to keep an eye on interesting DeFi and NFT investments. Track your own assets, and trade when needed. Or follow the wallets of influencers, friends, and successful entrepreneurs and analyze what they are doing.
