Floor prices of various female-focused NFT collections have seen a strong increase
The spotlight in the NFT sector is on various female-focused NFT collections like World of Women, Boss Beauties and CryptoChicks. These have seen an uptick in activity and attention in the past several weeks as the crypto community and celebrities alike turn to these empowering collections.
Following a wave of attention for all three collections, World of Women, Boss Beauties and CryptoChicks saw remarkable floor price increases. In addition, of course, trading volumes spiked. Importantly, all three of these collections are now in the top 100 NFT collections according to DappRadar Rankings.
World of Women is the top performer among the three. The collection saw a floor price boost of 415% in the past 30 days. The collection generated upwards of $61 million in trading volume in the past month.
Next up we have Boss Beauties. The collection saw its floor price skyrocket 1881%, generating $18.85 million in NFT trading volume in the past thirty days.
Last but not least is the CryptoChicks collection. It stole the spotlight in terms of overall growth in the past 30 days. The collection saw its floor price jump 3321% reaching $5380. Additionally, the trading volume CryptoChicks generated in the past month increased by 2036% to more than $17.6 million.
Women join the NFT space
Aside from being valuable collectibles, female-focused NFT collections offer a much more important ideological value. Collections like World of Women, CryptoChicks and Boss Beauties give women a stronghold in the NFT space where they can create their own social groups and communities.
Even more important than that, these projects give women an accessible entry point to crypto and NFT investing. Female-centric communities offer a sense of security and support that many women are looking for, and this is just as valid in the NFT space as it is in the real world.
Aside from benefits for the community, these projects are also a great opportunity for onboarding celebrities and bringing NFTs to the mainstream. In the past several months, celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Longoria, and Reese Witherspoon have all jumped on the NFT hype train. Importantly, these VIPs chose female-focused NFT collections to do that.
