NFT Worlds, Decentraland, The Sandbox, and more all make it to the February top 10 blockchain games list

Virtual worlds and metaverse platforms are steadily becoming the central focus of attention in the gaming space. Impressively, some of the more established names in the space like Decentraland and The Sandbox are falling behind. At the same time, newcomer NFT Worlds tops the charts for several weeks in a row.

Since late last year, the metaverse has been one of the hottest topics in the blockchain space. However, with the first couple of months of 2022, virtual worlds are really starting to shine. Four out of the ten top gaming dapps in February are extensive virtual world platforms.

Aside from metaverse platforms, play-to-earn games also attract heaps of attention. Market pioneer Axie Infinity makes the cut despite a falling performance for its native token AXS. Additionally, newcomer Pegaxy has managed to secure a spot in the chart. This is thanks to the launch of a new and improved 3D racing track.
