Over the past week, the NFT market as a whole has experienced a period of relative calm, with some of the more popular collections, such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, Azuki, and Doodles, experiencing drops in trading volume and transactions. However, despite this slowdown, the NFT art scene has had a good week, with several projects seeing an increase in activity over the past seven days.

James Jean’s Fragments NFTs regain attention

James Jean’s Fragments NFT collection, initially created last year, has recently seen a surge in attention, perhaps due to the buzz surrounding the 95th Academy Awards. The artist’s exclusive posters for this year’s Oscar-winning movies, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Whale, and Pinocchio, undoubtedly played a role in placing him in the spotlight once again. 

Over the past seven days, the collection has experienced a 5.6% increase in its average price, reaching $2,620, and a 14.12% increase in trading volume, with a total of $2.22 million. Fans of Jean’s unique and imaginative characters have been captivated by Fragments, a collection that truly showcases his distinct visual style. It’s no wonder that this psychedelic artwork has become a must-have for art collectors everywhere.

Braindrops leads the rise of AI art NFTs

Art has always been a medium for human expression and creativity. But with the advent of artificial intelligence, we are now witnessing a fascinating blend of human and machine-generated art. As a result, the world of AI art NFTs is quickly gaining popularity, and platforms like Braindrops are at the forefront of this creative revolution.

Mocaverse shows strong demand

Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse NFT collection has recently completed its minting. The collection is the membership NFT for Animoca Brands’ family of companies, projects, investments, shareholders, and partners, reflecting their values on Web3 and digital property rights.

What’s notable about this collection is its impressive trading statistics.  Even though it’s just launched, the current floor price of the Mocaverse NFT already sits at 1.3 ETH, more than 10 times the minting price of 0.138 ETH. In the last 7 days, the number of traders has doubled to 2,266. While the number of sales did the same, reaching more than 3,000.
