F1 Delta Time launches its crate sale

F1 Delta Time crate sale

After successfully auctioning 14 blockchain F1 cars for a total of over 1,000 ETH, Animoca Brands’ official F1 Delta Time is now opening up for fans with smaller wallets.

It’s launched its crate sale, with prices starting from $20 (or crypto equivalent) for a common crate containing five in-game items.

These range from complete cars and drivers to components such as tires, engines, superchargers and driver clothing.

Each crate is ranked and priced on rarity value of the five items it contains. For example, each common crate is guaranteed to contain at least one rare item and four common, while the top $500 legendary crate will contain at least one legendary item, one rare item, and three common items.

There are four crate rarities – common, rare, epic and legendary – and for the first week, there’s a 10% discount on all sales, plus if you buy five crates of the same rarity, you’ll get a 5% discount on the fifth. In addition, the total number of crates is strictly limited to 6,500.

The final encouragement to buy a crate is the Car Ticket auction.

Three of the four Chinese Guardian cars will be distributed randomly in a prize draw. Each crate contains at least one Car Ticket, up to five tickets in each legendary crate.

The Chinese Guardian cars will be awarded to a lucky ticket holder as 2,000, 4,000, and 6,500 crates are sold.

On the 9th of March the sale ends, with these crates and content contained within will be destroyed, and it will not be made or available again in the future.
