All top sales for the past week above 260 ETH
The CryptoPunks NFT collection has completely dominated the Top 10 NFT Sales over the past week. The top punk sold for more than 1,500 ETH, or about $4.358 million at the time of the sale. Six out of the ten top NFT sales for the week went towards the avatar-style collection.
This boost in activity for CryptoPunks is somewhat influenced by the recent market-moving tactics Mining DAO enforced. The company recently acquired all CryptoPunks available at the floor price, which significantly increased the amount of money collectors now have to spend in order to own a Punk.
This is clearly visible in last week’s top sales, as the cheapest Punk NFT sold for 317 ETH or about $840,985 at the time of the sale.

Notable mentions
While CryptoPunks clearly blew away the competition last week, there are some interesting features. In the last two positions in the week’s DappRadar Top 10 NFT sales we find rather unconventional artworks.
At number ten, we have Peg 103, part of the PEGZ NFT collection. This animated avatar-style NFT was created by Matt Furie. It depicts a popular meme image, alongside the Ying and Yang symbol. Peg 103 sold for the impressive 269.42 WETH, or about $823,145 at the time of the sale. At the time of writing, the floor price for a PEGZ NFT sits around 99 ETH.
Another impressive NFT sale this week is summer.jpg. The NFT was created by XCOPY, a frequent visitor of the Top 10 NFT sales. XCOPY has published more than 190 NFTs and owns more than 250 unique non-fungible tokens. Interestingly, summer.jpg initially cost 199 ETH and sold almost instantly for almost twice the price.
NFT collections with solid performance
Volume across most of the top NFT collections monitored by DappRadar is also rising. Nine out of the top ten collections saw boosts in their volume and the number of traders interacting with their smart contracts in the past seven days.
Interestingly, CryptoPunks saw a slight decrease in the number of traders interacting with its smart contracts. However, this did not stop the collection from recording a boost in volume and landing six positions in the Top 10 NFT sales for the week.
Twitter brought forward an impressive entry for the top collections in the past seven days. The 140 Collection by Twitter made splashes among the NFT community, as the social media announced it’s going to drop 140 NFTs for free to “besties.” Since the drop, Twitter NFTs have only been rising in value, landing them a spot in the top ten best-performing collections for the week.
DappRadar will continue to monitor the development of all hot NFT sales and collections. If you’re curious to view your own NFTs, DappRadar Portfolio offers you a great opportunity to do so and even check your assets’ strength and their current valuation.
