A round-up of the best blockchain games to try this month
Regularly we provide an overview of the best play and earn games in Web3. This list of games has been made with the idea that you can play the game, participate in a beta test or have the opportunity to earn some crypto tokens. July 2024 will offer plenty of excitement, and now let’s dive into the 10 play-to-earn Web3 games you need to check out as the bull run is hyping up.

July will be filled with play-to-airdrop campaigns, new projects launching beta tests and even product releases. The second half of 2024 has started, let’s go!
1. Crypto Unicorns
The Crypto Unicorns ecosystem finalized their migration to XAI, a Layer-3 network built on top of Arbitrum. The entire Crypto Unicorns ecosystem now runs on a community-driven network tailored for games. This move also elevated the game’s play-to-earn potential, introducing more quests and daily XAI rewards. So start your unicorn farm, craft items, joust in the arena and support your tribe. Unicorn NFT character can boost your resource gathering, crafting, harvesting or quest efficiency. With the new CU token, built on XAI, Crypto Unicorn has become better than ever before.
2. Pirate Nation
Proof Of Play’s pirate strategy adventure game Pirate Nation taps into the Arbitrum ecosystem, and moved into Season 2. Players can venture into this pirate game, complete quests, and earn booty points. These booty points will result in PIRATE token rewards. In return, you can use your PIRATE token to make in-game purchases. Proof of Play is seeing so much demand, that they are cutting off access to the game for the time being.
3. Loot Legends
Loot Legends is a mobile dungeon crawler with play-to-earn mechanics, built on the Arbitrum L3 network Hychain. In this game you dive into dungeons, level up, and battle your way to a legendary status. Loot Legends will launch this July, and becomes the first live game on the Hychain network.
4. Influence
As June ended, the space strategy game Influence launched on StarkNet. Anybody can now jump into the game, and start building their galactic empire. On June 27 they also launched SWAY, the native currency in the Adalian universe. Players need this token to purchase from the marketplace, settle loans and other in-game actions. You have to compete with other players through mining, building, trading, researching, and fighting. You get to colonize asteroids and exploit their resources, build infrastructure, discover technologies, and battle for all of that. Play solo, or work together, that choice is yours.
5. Nifty Island
Nifty Island has been the talk of town during the start of 2024 with their ISLAND token play-to-airdrop campaign, and they now reached Season 3. Nifty Island brings new quests, new game modes, and game mechanics. You can play games or create something yourself, and earn in the process. You will gain blooms, which will later convert to ISLAND tokens. The token generation event will take place after Wave 3 of the Play to Airdrop campaign.
6. Fableborne
Fableborne has launched a play-to-airdrop campaign for their strategy action RPG. Already available in the Google Play Store and AppStore, Fableborne lets players raid their enemies, while protecting their own kingdom. The airdrop campaign started in 1 July 2024, allowing players to earn Gold Essence from the PVP battles. Download Fableborne now, and build your dominion!
7. Guild of Guardians
Guild of Guardians has been out for a few weeks now, and just now it added various important Guild features. Act 2 for Guild of Guardians has been dubbed ‘Unite and Conquer’, referring to the social and guild gameplay of this mobile game. Players work together as a team through Guild Quests, and receive perks thanks to Guild Power. For the first time players can also use their GOG Avatars in the game. All new features are available from 3 July 2024. Play the game, level up your heroes, beat enemies, and you can earn GOG rewards.
8. My Neighbor Alice
My Neighbor Alice is the nicest looking social farming sim in Web3, and in June you could’ve been developing your crafting and resource gathering skills. This July you can stake your assets, and earn ALICE tokens in return. Every crafted NFT in My Neighbor Alice is backed by ALICE tokens, ensuring a certain floor price. You can stake your assets and earn an 18% APY for every staked asset. Craft more, stake more, earn more.
9. Ember Sword
Bright Star Studios is finally taking Ember Sword, their upcoming browser-friendly MMORPG, to the next level with the release of the closed beta on 12 July. Ember Sword is slick MMORPG where players can develop their own heroes, quest alone or together, and compete in PVP action. Moreover, the entire game works within a browser, making it accessible on many devices without the need to run updates or install patches. In June they launched the EMBER token, and this July the closed beta will rock your socks off. You play if you hold enough EMBER tokens, a Land NFT, or various other requirements.
10. Rumble Racing Star by DeLabs
Through the racing kart game Rumble Racing Star you can earn points for a future GAME airdrop by DeLabs. In addition, DeLabs has its own social gamification platform to collect and farm your points. Simply connect your Rumble Racing Star account to the DeLabs portal, collect Star Badges through races, play Premium Races and earn points every day. There’s no ETA on the GAME token airdrop yet.
