Bridging tokens from one blockchain to another, can be a bit intimidating. We know. Through this guide we will show you a couple of safe ways to do that. The destination? You need ETH on Base

At the moment, Base doesn’t have its own token. Instead, Coinbase utilizes ETH. That means that users need to spend ETH to perform transactions on Base, even though these are a fraction of the price on Ethereum mainnet. Bridge any token to Base in 5 easy steps

  1. Make an account on DappRadar, connect your Web3 wallet, and go to Base on DappRadar
  2. Choose which tokens you want to swap for ETH on Base, and then press “Review bridge”
  3. Then press “Start bridging”
  4. Potentially, your Web3 wallet will pop up, and you need to “Approve” the spending of your tokens.
  5. After that, you need to “Confirm” the actual transaction.

Bridging will commence and may take 10 to 15 minutes. Congratulations, you used our bridge and now have ETH on Base! 🥳
